this is a playlist from a shoot that took place at the elvis honeymoon house in palm springs for Rue Magazine. Anne asked Brian and i to help set the mood for, and capture, an unforgettable christmas party. with a load of help from our friends at Bash Please, Fiore & Featherlove we threw one of the most fun, & stylish christmas parties of all time. below are a few selections from the dj set. it is more of a holiday cocktail set than a christmas playlist which i think is the best way to celebrate the holidays... with cocktails and tuxes! be sure to check out Rue Magazine to see Noa's photos & Brian's film.

once again i was lucky to be asked to be a contributor to Rue Magazine. i created a playlist, which coincides with an editorial piece for their second issue, for those of you out there who (like me) aren't real fond of the christmas standards but like to get in the holiday spirit in your own way. this one is a mix of vintage british punk, rare absurd christmas carols, and a couple songs that have a holiday feel but don't make me nauseous. i hope you enjoy it!

i recently went to atlantic city to play a wedding at the chelsea hotel which is a pretty cool little place on the beach (which is pretty hard to come by on the jersey shore!) anyway, it had been so long since we booked the date that i totally forgot that our buddy josh goleman was shooting it until the wedding started and there he was... he is a super talented dude with a very gracious spirit. if you get the chance to meet, or work, with him you will be happy you did. here is a shot that he set up with polaroids from that night.

*it is pretty epic here but to see the shots laid out on the table that night was awe inspiring.
