when we started the flashdance we had this wedding in mind. not that it was booked already, but the essence of this wedding. the idea is to get all of the most talented people you know in one place and really create a true labor of love. well here it is! last month's party at THE ACE HOTEL PALM SPRINGS was the most fun i have had djing in waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long! this month i have some special guests coming with me, and as usual i have a deluxe patio fireplace room to giveaway... get on it!

i'm doing it the last sunday of every month now (except august which will be the 22nd)

nina simone is the best thing that ever happened to modern music, and this track is just a drop in the bucket... i have over 40 of her records and i am still looking for a few... ever since i knew the difference between good and stunning the high priestess of soul has been my personal favorite artist, and this is one of my very favorite tracks she ever made.
